B1542 Code

The engine B1542 Code has different meanings what changes for the manufacturer and model. By reading the manual of the engine, it is easy to identify the problem of the engine. The general meaning of the code is B means Body Code Problem is antilock brake system, electronic suspension and steering systems. 1 means MFG – Manufacturer Specific. 5 means Computer and Auxiliary Outputs. 4 means BBV Sensor Circuit Low Voltage and 2 means A/C System High Pressure High Temperature. If you have all necessary machineries, you can try to solve the problem. It seems that the problem is connected with the body of the engine. So, it is not necessary to change any part of the machine for solving the problem of the code.
The valves of each cylinder are saved closed using a pair of arms that change the conservative engine’s roller-type rocker arm. The B1542 code is one of these arms what follows the cam profile while the 2nd arm attaches to the valves. During normal engine operation, the 2 arms are combined by a locking pin. It is necessary to check the fuel pressure and check the connection sparks or not. You should also check mechanical timing.
